Definitely not on purpose. I did get a drip in my eye yesterday when I thought the cooler line was finished dripping and was wrong. Got me right in corner of my left eye. That was a weird feeling.what? not gonna have a sip of the forbidden strawberry fanta? it's refreshing!

My slant powered truck still has its original 727 in it, the slant is staying but since my 727 has to come out to fix a leak, (think it might be the low reverse band O rings) I'll split the difference with ya and put this A 500 I have back in.... I do have the hard to find 1960s /6 to small block trans adapter on hand ... Came from a 64 D100.Thats why the shop truck is staying with a slant and 3 spd......so I don't have to walk
Was that an age thing that caused the lockup clutch to grenade?Ok quick update for y’all. Took a bit longer than I (we) thought to get the trans back but ultimately the converter, or more specifically the lock up clutch in the converter was the problem. Had to have another custom converter made. Same specs as the old one, lock up, tight 2800 stall. The clutch “turned to dust”, his words not mine, and went through the whole trans. So a complete rebuild of all the soft parts, a gasket and seal kit, both solenoids, and a new converter. The trans is on my garage floor waiting reinstall and that’ll likely happen this weekend.
