My old Cragars seen better days, so I needed to get new tires and didn't have the heart to put new tires on not so good wheels so I sandblasted and epoxy primed the wheels followed by some SEM Hot Rod black. These are the fronts the rear tires are not in yet.

Tricked me with the old cragar in the title. Different wheel came to mind.
Anyway those look like weld pro stars. I think they will look good painted black on
your machine. Cool paint job.

Yea they are Cragar street stars.
Thanks I painted it 25 years ago that way. same time the wheels were new!

The wheels turned out good, love the vintage squirt job!

Back in the day we would buy Cragers and they would barely make it a year before the rust started peeling the chrome off the aluminum centers. I used to buy Rocket racing wheels because they looked like the Crager SS wheels but they were all steel and wouldn't lose their chrome. I have a set of Crager SS's that I am going to paint and put on my 39 Plymouth.

Looks quite similar to a wheel I like a lot. Differ'nt brand though...

Color match pin stripe around the rim might set them off a little more?

They look good to me. Not my color, but there looking good.

I was thinking of a pinstripe! Still waiting on my rear tires and new lugs, I feel kinda like a kid waiting for xmas. I have been having more fun with this car in the last 3 months than I did the last 10 years. I have always drove it some but was always on the back burner. I got the car in 1990 and it was my priority then until '94 and I became a family man then it slowly took its place fairly low on the Totem pole.

It's a sin to see all the new and beautiful stuff that comes into my powder-coaters place....just to be blasted and "murdered-out".

Now and then. went with 255/60-15 on the back 225/60-14 on the front
