Hi:
Today i receive 4 big boxes from Huges engines with a lot of new stuff:
60779 Big Mouth heads (225 int port )
Indy single plane intake
Solid flat tappet cam 254/264@050, 640-656 lift, 112 ls (Planning 150-200 hp shot of nitrous )
1 7/8 headers from TTI
ARP main and head studs
1.6 Hughes rockers
Everything goes on a balanced 4" Eagle forged crank,Scat i-beam rods and Icon flat top pistons (12:1), Innovators West damper, electric water pump, full Mallory ignition.
Holley Ultra HP 850 carb
The car is a full street trim 74 Plymouth Duster (3350 lbs)
Tf 904 trans, 9" rearend with 4.56 gears (maybe gonna change to 4.30 or 4.10) on 28.5X10.5 slicks, 4 link suspension.
Hopping to get on the 10's on motor, what's your toughts?

Well I'm not an auto trans guy, but I know you better have a good converter. 4000 ish and a high end brand. That'll get ya there for sure, if your suspension is half decent.

I can believe that! Can you post up some pics of your heads? I was thinking about going with Hughs for some CNC'ed RPM heads.
 
They look pretty nice: cnc'd chambers, intake and exhaust ports, 2.08 valves, 225 int port thanks to the offset pushrod holes

I got a set as well. Your parts pile looks like mine except it's in my closet.
 
10's on motor and 9's on the spray should be doable from the sounds of it.
 
you will be in the 10's, mid 10's I think. mid 9's with spray if car can handle the spray.

your heads flow way more then mine, close to the same cam specs, compression same as mine but your 500 lbs lighter then my car. i'm in the 10's so you will have no problem hitting 10's.

Elevation 1,620 m (5,310 ft)
