Oil Pump Question!

I bought a new HV oil pump for my 340, Is the fisrt time that I replace a oil pump, but my question is,,,,,,did I have to add a gasket or silicone between the pump and maincap? I have this doubt. I bought a complete engine gasket but I can see one related with. ( This is my first time working with internals)

No silicone anywhere near the oil system. Gasket goes on dry.

I agree with moper No Silicone near the oil system, the oil pump should have came with a gasket , mine did.
