I Was 287.7 December 1, 2020. Decided that was enough. We decided to go on The Whole30 On January 2nd. Here is my before and current pictures. I've lost dead on 50 and Kitty's down 35.

Congrats to both of you! That is hard work that only you can do for yourselves. Your bodies thank you - bet your energy levels are up too!

What methods are you using?

I've found that when you eat has just as much or more impact than what you eat.

I try not to consume carby or starchy things after 5-6 pm or even earlier.

Pizza for lunch- no problem.

Pizza for late dinner- terrible idea.

Good for you guys!
It's not so much about ''will power'' than it is about ''won't power''.
How do you both feel?

Well done both of you, sure it wasn't an easy thing to keep motivated, hell I'm having a hard time getting motivated. I am thinking it's time for me to drop some lead from my *** too.

We used The Whole30 to begin with and did a strict 30 days of it. Kitty definitely feels better....me.....well...I have so much other health stuff goin on, I can't really tell. Where I do tell a difference is I do feel a lot lighter carryin "myself" around, so that's somethin, I guess. I know ultimately it's a good thing. Here's the plan we took for the first 30 days. Now, we've some keto things in as well.

The Whole30® Program - The Whole30® Program

The Whole30 isn't a weight loss diet, but you will lose weight. It's more of a body reset and "show you how to eat" kinda thing. We're reading ALL labels now and we never did before. Seems to be workin.

Agree on labels.

Some stuff that looks "the same" is WAY different.

Can be the difference between 100 cal or 10g carbs.....and identical taste.

Right. We've learned a lot, too, like the myths bacon and red meat are bad for you. It's not the meat, it's the additives and preservatives. We now choose all natural meats with no nitrates and nitrites. Uncured bacon and uncured sausage. We've added to our grocery bill, but it's been worth it so far.
