I know this thread has been dead for about 12 years.
Did you ever get it running?
Is that motor running now?
Did you notice that you were banned one day before making it 2 years?
That's just figuring from your last post in this thread.

The member was banned in 2013.

For anyone wondering

The motor cranked 188 psi, like 28 degrees total timing, ran on pump 91.. barely.. but it did. Ran quiet and didnt have any issue with the lifters etc.
My flow bench is 6cfm off, less than actual.. I calibrate with an orface plate and didnt math that in.
All of the .100-.450 numbers are actually around 6 cfm higher. 198=204cfm on Brian's sf600.
I ended up taking it Barona on street tires and running the equivalent of 12.00 in the 1/4 . Stick car and loaded.. not too bad.

What was your experience with those rockers? Do you still have the car?
They were fine, just a short life span.
Needle bearing stuff should be checked every month or so... because the races wear out n they begin to ride on the edges of the race once that happens. They lasted months, not yrs lol

Did you have a clearance issue with your drivers side header not completely coming in contact with your head enabling you not being able to bolt it in?
I'm glad that you brought this up. I never paid attention, but one thing I did notice when I took it apart.. was that the no. 5? I think it was.. was cracked at the bottom near the the flange. Could have been from tension cause by resting against the middle reinforced j head head bolt boss area.
Never an issue I think with x heads, they shaped different around the middle head bolt boss.

Something else I should have changed with this motor too.. was the fuel pump.
I used stock 340 replacement pump and it fell short. No way it was it putting it's potential the pavement. Stock pumps are like 30-35ish gph and whipping the throttle in neutral would dip from 5 psi to 3.5... so just imagine how low that fuel psi was. LoL
