Consider it a "blank canvas".Im sticking with a blue interior,so my choices are limited.I dont think Red, Sassy Grass or Yellow would go good with a blue interior.Whatever color ,its going to have a matte black stripe on the hood

I always liked the "Basin Street" blue. I believe it came out in '72 and kinda looked like Richard Petty blue. It was the B3 paint code in 1973. Also known as Super Blue by Dodge.

white would be neat with black dual snorkel scoop - full black vinyl top - black tail panel and 1970 or 71-74 gold duster side stripes

I definatley go with TB-3 Basin blue, is your interior color B-5 or B-7 ? You could also go silver or white.....

I say white with the hood blue, the top of the fenders blue and down the door and around the sails in blue like everyone does with black. try and get the blue as close to the interior as you can, I think it would look slick.

Here's a mate's 73 duster he's just had painted.
Was going to be petty blue but a local late model ford colour was easier.

Thanks everyone!

According to my fender tag, color says TB3
Is this Basin Street Blue??
If so,I may stick with this color. But its weird because on the door jambs,it looks nothing like the paint chip for B3.

Heres what the original color looked like.Does it look like B3?

Well your out west so maybe the color faded alot:scratch: but I like the white with blue or go with B5, thats an awesome color

Well,I decided on Chrysler Intense Blue PB3 like on the Neon in the pic.Im painting the door jambs, trunk jambs and engine compartment today

I had a 73 Challenger that was B1 (Baby blue) with a black vinyl top and black strobe stripes. It originally had Magnum wheels which looked sharp with the black trim. Wish I could find a photo. Mike here's a link to a lot of photos.[ame="http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&biw=1024&bih=673&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=1972+duster&oq=1972+duster&aq=f&aqi=g1&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=194973l258240l0l28l23l5l4l4l0l464l2456l1.7.5.0.1"]1972 duster - Google Search[/ame]
