Has anyone experienced any of these heads yet? Prices are cheap. I don't need massive flow, less than 450hp.

I have a set of 302 heads. Is there any value in messing with them to save money?
The problem with OE iron is the limited ceiling in performance. But as you stated, you don't need big flow numbers or ports. The second problem is the material there made of. Iron. Equals heavy. And everybody runs from iron heads due to there weight. Unjustified IMO unless your drag racing for money. OK, saving a few pounds helps. It 95% of the builds I see, read and notice that race wouldn't know if they gained or lost 50lbs.!!!!!
3rd is getting a porter to work on it. They all run from iron. Spoiled by the ease of porting aluminum. Not that I blame them.

Your "302" heads. Are the for a 318? Don't bother with there use in a larger 340/360 engine. There very good for a 318+ size HP engine. They should be well ported.

there was a thread on here with pics and flow numbers on the small block heads. the word is that they have quality machine work and flow well. better than edelbrock heads...

1,366.84 for a pair of Eddies and they're American made. Just saying

casting is china, machine work is high quality...in the US.
if you guys wanna buy a lower quality part because you can't get over the fact that something isn't cast in the US made then that's fine. it's your choice. i know which ones i would buy based on the pics and the flow numbers...
