Has anyone experienced any of these heads yet? Prices are cheap. I don't need massive flow, less than 450hp.
I think I will, friend of myne has a set for a big block. He is happy with them. I was just hoping someone else could agree... Especially for a sb.Someone has to be 1st............Go for it....
I have a set of 302 heads. Is there any value in messing with them to save money?Someone has to be 1st............Go for it....
The problem with OE iron is the limited ceiling in performance. But as you stated, you don't need big flow numbers or ports. The second problem is the material there made of. Iron. Equals heavy. And everybody runs from iron heads due to there weight. Unjustified IMO unless your drag racing for money. OK, saving a few pounds helps. It 95% of the builds I see, read and notice that race wouldn't know if they gained or lost 50lbs.!!!!!I have a set of 302 heads. Is there any value in messing with them to save money?
