Quick question on tire size for 14x4.5 and 14x5.5 wheel

What size tire can I run on a 14x4.5 and 14x5.5 wheel.
Would it be ok/safe to run a 215/70-14 on a 14x4.5 and 225/70-14 on a 14x5.5?
How about 235/60-14 on a 5.5?

Yes to all the above, I ran a 245/60R14 on a stock rallye and it fit nice!

I would say that the 215/70 is a little wide for a 4.5" wheel. It will work but look a little wide for the rim. Both the 215/70 and 225/70 are a perfect fit on the 5.5" wheels.

My Dad runs 275-60-15 on a 15x5.5 wheel no probs for last 20 plus years

Thanks for all the input. I went with 215/70-14 up front on a 4.5 rim and 225/70-14 on the rear with a 5.5 rim. Will post pics soon.

My demon had 255/50-14.. I don't know how they got it on or what shop did it. The center of the tire was bald and road on the middle 5" only. too wide. the front had 235/60-14 fit better but it was so short.
