Amy & I went to Englishtown for a VW show and I ran her car just for fun. One pass and that was it. My performance was absolutely pathetic! My R.T. was a glacier-like .568 (on a .000 tree....), 60 ' @ 2.7, with a 15.6 & 89 MPH. If I was awake at the light I might have pulled off a low 15. I also didn't wind the car against the brakes too hard and left pretty soft. As much as I wanted to beat the day lights out of it, I needed to get home too! If it blew up, it's under warranty, but I didn't want to trash it with repeated runs. It's just a stock 1.8 liter turbo w/ auto.
I'm in the far lane. I did eat the Jetta alive and would have been eligible for a return run, but didn't want to see how tough that automatic 5 speed is! Although we might chip it, do a cat-back exhaust, and maybe a real cold air intake :thumrigh:
