EDELBROCK HEADS SUCK!
Before you cry American, you better see where the RPM is cast........

Unless you know something I don't, Edelbrock has their own foundry.

In Mexico?
When other companies are going overseas for their manufacturing needs, Edelbrock remains dedicated to strengthening our own economy by building a new foundry in San Jacinto, California.
realy dont like pissing in the wind but and this is a big but, why do everyone defend the fact that the american made stuff needs to be reworked to work and fit properly(cause it just needed alitle here and alitle there), while it seems that everyone gets upset with the same problems with chinese stuff? i realy try to buy real american made performance parts whenever i buy something unless i can find something swedishmade but that is real hard as you may understand, but this is alitle anoying... i seriusly cant remember buying anyting from anywhere that did not need some work to work except my lysholm twinscrewsupercharger but that was not bought new it was a rebuilt one and i havent put it on the car yet
I checked my Crosswind before install, the alignment was very good on the RHS heads
Oh? What method did you use to check it?
as far as buying chinese. well thats not the american companys fault. thats the consumers fault for buying 'brand X" made in china crap. buy american.. american jobs/foundries stay. buy oversees.. american jobs/foundries go. thats how i see it.Your talking about the Crosswind RPM knock-off, "ripoff" Ha, i don't think so, is the eddy a ripoff, sure the hell is IMO, you better do your research, i bought one for 125.00 less then the ol'e mighty Eddy RPM, it is truely a VERY nice intake, & it fits damn good too, plus it is versital for both blocks, has the LA & Magnum bolt holes, i was pleasently surprized at the quality & fitment fpor the price i payed, it may be a China piece, but get used to it, not much is being made over here for are cars anymore, so chill out. I would love to buy american & was able to 20 yrs. ago, but if we keep selling are industry over seas, it'll soon be ALL gone. its called reality.

anyways,
crosswind not a ripoff of the eddie RPM? your kidding right? so big deal the cross wind has dual drilled bolt holes. i seen a crosswind intake (for a friend of mines chevy mindyou) and the fitment was horrible. couldn't even gasket match it becouse that would eliminated the center port dividing wall.. or at the very least make it paper thin. crappy all around intake in that instance. whats the rpm a ripoff of?
