Took Lump to the grocery store and Dunkin D's at 5AM! Grocery run a bit later and ABB wanted to drive Lump!! But she said she's too ugly.

Dude, that thing kept trying to kill me and I kept wondering what the hell made me so frekin special. I had no clue he had a nest there!! I have mudd dobers all round me constantly and I'm always freekin on them too!! The are never there untill I put on a face shield or welding mask, or reading glasses then all of a sudden they are like, "Hey you guys the butt wipe with tatoos and the fly swat just went blind again!!>>> GET HIM!!!" To the guy who sold me Lump. You were a complete jerk to me. You caused me to have to exempt my milage on my new title due to your selfish escapades. :coffee2: Nothing better than to wake up and have an update on Lump to view with my coffee. Glad to see you are using that fender after all the work you put into it. Do you think you will you be able to close the gap at the top of the fender at the door? Even if you can't, it looks great already. I have never heard the term "kitty hair", what exactly are you using :scratch:? Glad to see Vinny aout getting some sun . . . good that he felt good enough to at least come out to the porch and supervise :hello1:. Keep up the great work! Rog
 
Kitty hair is a good formula of fiber glass with some enforcement Rog :happy7:
It's great to see the old man on the porch :blackeye: enjoying your work and advise to the pos that installed the plugs :toothy7: Great job on the fender and all, as I sip down my second cup of joe and enjoying some GErrrrrate music this morning :love4:

Got a pic for ya of the can!
Kitty Hair= strong bondo with short strand fiberglass and resin mixed in together. Extra stong, the longer it sets the stronger it gets. Do not apply if you can not sand soon!! Come back a week later and you'll never get it sanded. I wait till is flash sets on me during application, throw leftovers away. Then I'll go over and start knifing it off of edges. Few min later, lightly sanding high points with 40 grit lightly sand. Then 30 min later, air deck. :downtown:

It's Lump!!

Hey Vinny!! That's not a slide!!
"I know Dad, but I kinda like sitting here though, it's easy to get up from here!"

Putting light coats on worst places first then slowly building between sandings. Lightly tap high metal spots down with pointed side of body hammer before going on to next layer.
I'm already leveling out with out all the build up the last reject that owned Lump was doing.
Also, I'm using the kitty hair like bondo, then last skim coat use ultra light like a glazing putty but creamy bondo.
I never use the glazing putty in the tube for anything except pits and feathering.
All coats the thinner the better. Start with the worst places first and work out between sandings. Don't forget to light ding the metal that is high before next layer.:downtown:

Fender is sitting better now after a few more tweeks!
