So beings that Slant 6s rarely get appreciated enough to build. How about a thread for guys to just show off their cool Slant builds?

Drag race only. Filled block to deck. Air cooled, welded chamber head. .100 overbore 11.45 compression. Pretty rare Hilborn Injection. Aftermarket powerglide case with a smallblock MoPar bell. Vertex Magneto and a gear drive for the oil pump/fuel pump. Dragster oil pan with baffles and doors.

Greg, sorry about that but the engine has been buried under a bunch of stuff. I didn't show the engine to that Colt guy either as he would have wanted to buy the engine to add it to his vast collection of slant parts.

Cool Stuff.

I wanted to see it in the green Grenade too!

I got all I could afford.
Sides I saw it before where you had it hiding.
And don't tell me about a stash of slant six stuff.

Trying to keep this thread going!
There have to be a few more slants out there!
A slant I had in an Auto Museum years ago.
Aluminum block.
"Special" Head.
Aluminum 1 Barrel Intake Manifold.
Aluminum Water Pump.
Aluminum Distributor.
Aluminum Oil Pump.
I was trying to show all the aluminum Chrysler used in the design of the Slant Six.

I'll try to post a shot of my AL block with the 1bbl, but my exhaust is woefully short of your set-up!

That's Purr-Tee, the Hilborns are awesome..

Yea, original Hyper Pak exhaust manifolds. Did not like the way it looked with the stock exhaust manifold.
I wish someone would re-cast those parts, I bet a lot would be purchased!

Here's mine, all original 170 (as you can tell) 1966 Valiant. Runs like a champ, and started right up after a 4-month sleep.

A today shot of my brave slanty :)

Matching 1971 198ci/A230 3-speed, but the brake booster/MC set is a generic one purchased on ebay (after a booster failure) and a 340ci 26" radiator.
