Skf u joints?

has anyone ever used the SKF brute force u joints... finally got some after getting the rock auto jack. Damn things are made in China!!!! Arggh! I got them for 13 bucks a piece, including shipping, but if they're junk, I don't even want them! And to me, ain't nothing but junk comes from There, for the definitive "Most Part"!

Is there any strong American U joints out there? Another thing Del, the "zero fitting" wth? I guess I ain't been globalized, its a concaved circle,
with a little tiny valve down at the bottom of the crater, instead of a big nipple like a normal one... huh? Do you grease it with a needle, or is it the new Chi Com metric nongreasable- greasable fitting? The more I think about this,the more I should eat the shipping, and send them damn things back! Unless I hear anyone's used them with success.....

I put skf uppers and lowers in my dart. The uppers were a pita to get in its like the threads were oversized once I started threading them in they just stopped before bottoming out. I had to inch them in and finally got them to bottom out in the control arm. I haven't got enough miles on them to speak on the durability. But they seem well made.

All good! I was doing some other research, a few Mopar websites say that Spicer( which is sending out neapco) are good. But these sre old posts. And neapco seems like the garbage I used to get it Advance Auto Parts I never had one fail but those were all in work trucks even though they raised a lot of hell!

Brother, that sucks. Funny you say that, I just put a little digital slide caliper on these things, and I'm getting different measurements; it's not much but it makes you wonder..?

I used Spicer u joints on everything on my car and truck I had some bad moog u joints give me some trouble on my ram I switched to Spicer and it solved that problem

I'm still curious as to what the hell an inverted zerk fitting is? Lol the main reason I don't want to buy anything from China is, one way or the other, all that money goes to further communism and their military industrial complex!

I was looking at Strange a few minutes ago! They are sending neapco. Best info I can find is the spicers were made in USA at least until May of last year... I've always known Dana and Spicer were the way to go! I thought I was getting a deal on Brute Force U-joints, didn't know they weren't the real deal

Yup you're right. There are some good things...the problem is there's SO much of it comin in now there's just a lot of bad.

I use Spicer solid non greaseable. Last set I bought the cross shaft was made in Mexico, needle bearings and cap USA. I've never broken one.

The Mexicans actually drive, love, and respect our vehicles. So I firmly believe they're going to make a better product, un like the damn chicom

Have you talked to a good driveshaft rebuilder, maybe they could advise who makes a good U joint.
I had a top guy in nearby NJ make me a completely new shaft when replaced my 8 1/4 rear with a 8 3/4
I know he used quality joints. Just a idea
