I was at this concert, seeing as i was stationed in England at the time. The day's entertainment was The Don Harrison Band, Hot Tuna, Todd Rundgren & Utopia, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 10cc, and the Rolling Stones, all for the equivalent of $9.00. Concert went from 11am til ~2am with Skynyrd just stealing the show, best of all the bands there, I can still smell the hashish floating thru the air, with the crowd of ~400,000.

Wow, I am sooooo jealous you were there, what a lineup!!. Although I am not young, I was too young to have seen the original lineup, but I have seen them up here with his brother doing the singing and they were awesome!! 400,000 people thats unbelieveable. Ok gonna see where I can get me's the Skynyrd movie. Yep there is nothing like the smell and taste of hash!!

Cool song and all but WTF???

After driving with their feet to the floor for like 45 seconds they achieved double digit speeds while maintaing sub 3000 rpm on the tach and they wreck the friggin mopar! :angry7:

seen Ozzy a few times. first was at the Mesa ampitheater, on Mischief night (night before Halloween). small out door place. what a show. was supposed to stop at 10 p.m., played til almost midnight. the other time was at the Desert Sky Pavillion. When they played War Pigs damn near every car alarm in the parking lot was going off.......
