Steering column interchange?

My 65 Dart has power steering. I would like to change it over to manual steering as the engine I am building for it will be spun 7,000 to 7,500 rpm. My question is will a manual column and box out of a 66 cuda work? Looks like it will, but I just want to make sure.

Yup, it will fit. The coupler will look a little different but it should slip right in. If you want to keep your existing column housing, you can just swap the center shaft w/coupler.

One thing to watch is that my 65 coupler and PS gear do not have the wide key of later models. I recall the same on the steering wheel. People don't believe me but I checked 3 times, real close. Check your parts since certain combinations may not fit. Of course I don't know about 66.
