I did finally get the pos chevy running.1-1/2 hours boosting and plugged in to the inverter.
Finally started after activating clear flood mode and cranking the **** out of it.

I looked at the weather forecast for your area since I was looking at mine. Holy crap, never seen so many 1 digit highs and negative lows for a 10 day stretch! Hardly any snow forecasted either, guess clear equals cold!

Speaking of melting, here's a little experiment with plastic to repair a bulkhead connector.
Acetone had no effect. Crazyglue had some bonding but no strength. Guessing it may be nylon.
Cut some pieces off of another that was broken and melted it into the crack with a hot knife tip on butane soldering iron.

One of my coworkers is in Vegas right now, his girlfriend of 4 years surprised him with a private chartered flight and a week in Vegas for his birthday. And told him she has a big surprise for him at the end of the week

Jeez, now they are predicting 8* on Sunday night with windchills of -12*.

Yuck!

They are predicting 6 - 10 inches of snow for us between Friday night and Saturday morning....

Yeah, we are supposed to get all, rain during the day Sunday with a 50* temp drop in 4 hours. They are calling it a “flash freeze”.

Watch out for black ice when those conditions happen... Stay inside and don't drive anywhere....

Of course, the people in SUVs will all still be flying down the roads believing that their AWD is a magic shield against physical reality.

Now is also the time when we find out who’s antifreeze no longer works at these temps because they forgot to get it replaced when it was due.

Back during the Winter of the Polar Vortex, I saw more than a few radiators explode while people were driving down the interstate.
