Stop in for a cup of coffee

Evening everyone. After the kitchen work, scraping the driveway, running the cars through the car wash, groceries and dinner, I was able to get the driveshaft in the Demon....time for a cocktail...

Well, I guess it’s my turn to have my blood pressure go haywire.

I have been well controlled for more than 15 years but ever since this tooth problem, by BP is all over the map. Ranges from 160/82 to 190/100. I can’t figure it out. I increased my meds to 4 times a day instead of 3 two days ago so hopefully that will settle it down. This med allows me to double it and still be safe. I figured I would start with a modest increase and see how it goes.

I hate this ****.

Beer sounds good but I wouldn't get anything done around here that I need to, and sometimes that's okay but I think I'll save that day for Super Bowl. I'm going to brine and smoke a chicken for making a dip for the game.

I got up at 6:30 AM and haven't stopped since...

Been a busy productive day...

Summer here has a farmer’s market. We go tour it every saturday.
Its on the arena parking lot, arena raises money by selling burgers, so its a good place to go for lunch.

There are a few farmer's markets here during summer that are once a week...

But then in the middle of summer the true farm stands open with fresh picked produce from the day before... I love my farm stand that I get my produce from... Great sweet corn, etc... They are open Mon - Sat every week until Halloween... :D

Was a less than productive day. Waiting for snow to quit so i can plow it away..tomorrow more snow.

About a 1/2 mile down the road from my property is a dairy farm that makes cheese. Ice cream and milk year round. They’ve got a roadside market store about the size of closet they stock daily. It’s abiut .50-1.00 more than store bought but it’s so close and it’s fresh that I go there anytime I can.

I can be in Wisconsin within an hour and a half drive from here and get some fresh cheese when I do get up there...

After all, Wisconsin's license plate says, "America's Dairyland"...

Yep I feel good, and healthy! Still have a muscle spasm on one side but I have ice on it right now, and alternate with heat, muscle relaxer and aspirin, it is getting better. Oooh you guys reminded me they sell breakfast and lunch at the farmers market, I am definately going!!

Glad that you're feeling better David...

Nothing like local produce! We have a short growing season up here but it's good to get the stuff that's suited for climate. I'm glad that soon I will be able to grow my own in a more sun exposed area, had raised bed gardens in my last house but now have a few acres and can put in a real garden.

I was planning on bringing a load

We got up to 41° today... Felt nice... :D
We only got to 33* today but it was enough to melt the snow off the driveway and walks. The sun without the wind felt very nice. We are supposed to be pushing 60* on Tuesday. That will be a treat.

Every day that is reasonably nice is just one less day of Winter as far as I’m concerned. :)

I had heavy sinus congestion and teeth got crazy sensitive about the time my BP went nuts. Not really sure what was first. I do know it s not the first time a sinus infection caused it to spike.
