Hey all busy day here to. Spent the day with a good Mopar buddy working on the car.
Received the distributor back that I sent Ray a few days ago. Quick return and it looks great...first class work!!
Put the front seats back in. With the newer carpet it was kinda a PITA. Fought us for awhile, but we won.
Install the wiring harness and distributor tomorrow and fire it up!!

Me too,
subtle hint Dd think Corsair! I am a Marine ya know! Just can't help it!

I have some Corsair images somewhere in my files. The biggest problem with that plane is that the dark color provides little contrast to work with. I always want to do images of it because it’s one of my favorite planes, but I’m never happy with the results. Maybe I will get one to work someday.

A kid I went to grade school with used to say that his uncle says, "The corsair didn't have bent wings until the Marines got a hold of them".... LOL!!! :D

I loved to watch Black Sheep Squadron when I was a kid...

Pappy Boyington was a real hero... :usflag:

Love the Corsairs! This is from "Black Sheep Squadron". Loved that show!View attachment 1715284369

I miss that show . Major Boyington

I did at the time. I wonder if I still would other than the airplane scenes.
I read a bio of Boyington a few years ago, Black Sheep One I think was title. While Boyington himself liked the show, the character and the squadrons portrayed weren't all that close to reality.

Here's a good story about the real Greg Boyington... Great background for the Black Sheep Squadron show...

Evening everyone. After the kitchen work, scraping the driveway, running the cars through the car wash, groceries and dinner, I was able to get the driveshaft in the Demon....time for a cocktail...

You had a good productive day...

I will post about mine later after catching up and going to get some KFC bowls for dinner...

Nothing like local produce! We have a short growing season up here but it's good to get the stuff that's suited for climate. I'm glad that soon I will be able to grow my own in a more sun exposed area, had raised bed gardens in my last house but now have a few acres and can put in a real garden.

Yep local produce is the best and freshest... Not to mention supporting your local growers...

I like to get dairy products from Wisconsin... I've seen the commercials for California dairy products, but why would I get diary from there that is over 1000 miles away from me, when I can be in Wisconsin in an hour and a half...

I can get fresher dairy in Wisconsin and support the local "neighbors"...

Nothing against California and their people, but Wisconsin is closer...

I dont know if you guys know it or not, BUT Mitch's truck was cherry. Original condition. He kept it perfect. Real Bummer for him.

Freezing drizzle here. Everything is glare ice. You aren't that far away. Safe travels..
