318. All cleaned up and ready to go. Newer 904 all overhauled and ready.
Have to finish engine bay and paint it then engine goes in.
I pretty much bought a bare shell with all the parts dumped inside. Have been scrounging bits and pieces to put it back together.

Hey Ray got the distributor yesterday. Looks GREAT!!
I'll show Jimmy the test sheet today when he comes over. He can explain it to me...LOL!!
Plan is to put the new harness and distributor on and FIRE it up.

Only pictures i have of the console.

Had to make linkage for it, knob was a difficult thing to figure out.
Not easy parts to find.

A bit of work to do there. The carpet sides,i bought the carpet they use on boat trailer bunks. Perfect width and black. Looked great when i was done.
a bit of work for sure, but it will be worth it, I will be putting a quick Silver shifter under it, not going for original at all, I will keep you guys updated, and yes, carpet needs to be the kind you are talking about to drape down the sides

Well like I said its 55 here this morning. Heading to the shop and get an early start before the Boss wakes and wants to go to Sunday BK...means I have a couple hours

when you get a chance can you tell me where you got the crank and water pump pulley

Mike how bad is the pitting on that? If not to bad you might be able to polish it then cold zinc it then buff it out. Works pretty well.

The test sheet the first numbers are the factory specs, the results are the curve. Also they are in distributor degrees so double that at the crank.

what the H e ll is cold sink, never dun it, the pits are as bad as they look, but as you can see they are sanding almost smooth, little dots now

You spray it on turns grey then hit it with steel wool. Works pretty well was using it on vac advances for a bit before I started plating. I got it at Fastenal but sure it is around. Good for brackets and stuff also.

Yay! It's my day off work!
This morning- I need to drink coffee
This afternoon I need to drink beer.
I think there is a football game on today.
That's most of my schedule. lol

Then after getting the trailer ready and loaded, we installed the gauges in his 65 Barracuda and got it started...

I couldn't get any pictures of the gauges as it was dark when we finished...
Is the plan for him to come back and take the new (to you) Barracuda ?

Not taking first.
Its 0 farenheit now.
Not bad. Dog went out and it time to resume sleep. Ya, right.
Pellet stove is out, have to clean it. Not now though, may wake up the wife.
03:00 nothing on the tellie...
I remember so many years ago there was actually nothing on.
Static.
0 * F is still cold. I don't care how you slice it. Anything lower is negative.
32 * F may or may not be cold, like Krazykuda was saying. It's not that bad.
That's why I say the Farenheight is calibrated to people. :)

I've put removing and fixing the gages on the list of goals for February. My turn to be asking you questions.

I think I am going to have to do a paint job on the top, two tone gold/or silver, not sure yet. Then vynel paint the sides back to Matte black.
What's the base material? Was that vacuum chromed plastic?
