No......I cant get him to finish the car. All the new sheetmetal is on the car, but he cant or wont work on it. Been 1 1/2 yrs. Im going to go get it the week after New Year.....
Yes 1970 Cuda 383 4spd, B7 ext B5 int, numbers matching. Next on the list, after the GTS is done......
That sucks... Why did he take on a job that he couldn't finish???
Dunno....I lost my crystal ball ????? LOL. I really think he is on something, like pills. He was hurt bad in a M/C accident a few years ago....Either way, Im done with him. Ill find someone to paint it soon......

So good news/bad news in the Polara.
good news, I just popped the cap on the dizzy, my dumbass didn’t have the rotor all the way seated. Luckily no visible damage to the cap or rotor or the pickups.
it no longer wobbles the cap when cranking, bad news, I burnt the starter up I think. It just hums now and doesn’t try to turn over. Jumping the relay does nothing. Motor still turns over by hand so I didn’t seize that luckily

I totally get it. I simply no longer care or have interest in the paint on mine. I am going to go fetch it come mid January regardless of completion status. Frankly the whole thing has kind of turned me off to the car. We will see if getting it back on site after almost a year reenergizes me. At this point I could burn it and put the Hemi in a Volkswagen and never look back.

Evening. You know I got to thinking if I deviate my route to Tucson in January to head to Ruidoso as my first leg of the trip I could pass through and say hi to @Ben Drinkin on the way or coming back.
