Seems most of my employees have etch-a-sketch brains. They go home and shake thier heads and it's a blank slate the next time they come to work.. And HR says I can't point out the fact that they're stoopid. Like hiring a whole new crew every Monday...
 
etch-a-sketch.. that's funny. Ah yes, here in our modern PC world.. there are semi-tactful ways to say stoopid dumbass.. the really dumb ones don't even know they've been dissed.. :D

The wife refers to stoopid women at her work as 'dumb as a bucket of hair'.
 
Back to work today, one day off is not enough. Banquet dept. is short staffed and the function is in our restaurant so we all have to go in at 2:30. Bitching isn't going to make the day better though, is it?
 

agreed - 1 day isn't enough AT ALL. Bitching doesn't really make it better - just makes you feel a little better about it :D

got here late, took wife to work was raining like a sum *****! Just got home!

And I love the ech-a-sketch brain!

Best schedule I ever had 3 / 12 hour days 6pm to 6 am off for three then on again. It was awesome! Come home power nap and get things done. Take three days off get nine!
 
I didn't think I was going to take to it really - hated the idea initially - guess it's whatever you're used to.. now I wouldn't trade it

I was working a 4-10-40. 4 ten hour days then off three. all was good until they implemented mandatory overtime. then it was a 6-10-40! Lots of money but never home. They forced overtime all the time.
 
ouch - so much for having a life huh? :banghead: ...wouldn't that be 6-10-60?

I used to hate deployment workin 12-18 hours 7 days. Burnt you out fast, but also alot of sitting around which made it worse.
 
I had a job where I worked 4 10hr shifts, then off 3. They scheduled it back to back so you worked 8 on and 6 off. My counterpart worked 30 hrs a week, 6 on and 8 off...
