Hey guys, really appreciate all the kind birthday wishes today, and the B-day thread Karl started. It's been a great birthday, and joyful as Stan wished me! Heard from family and very old friends too. Called my Pop but he was sleeping comfortably, which made me happy. Had chicken and waffles for the first time, started reading that new book on the Lusitania. Updated my wardrobe (it's official, I'm "portly" now, but that just means I live well!) Headed out to dinner now. I really have "enjoyed the day my way" as Memike says. Thanks again for making my birthday a very happy one!

I can give you lessons, it's not hard to learn...it just takes time and practice!
I've taught newbies over on the Charger Forum and watched them grow into masters of photoshop art. One of the guys over there went from a complete novice to this in around 6 months of playing around...

IDK about youtube vids, but I'm sure they are out there. I can do some research and see what I can find. Otherwise I can help you through e-mail or screen sharing. The biggest thing is to get the software and play, play, play.

Geez. Just watched the tail end of the City Council Budget presentation that my wife puts on. They are supposed to vote to OK the budget for next year. Well, I don't think they did. One of the councilmen wanted to table it which is either a 4 hour recess or start the whole process all over again on Saturday. My wife got up to the podium almost in tears and asked that they needed to vote on the budget because she has personal things going on and she might not be here on Saturday. I looked at the screen and the gavel went down and the tv screen went blank. I don't know what they voted on. Sorry, rant over.
