Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was a heretic with the GM master cylinder... with the distribution integrated/mounted to the MC itself.... Headers on the slant make the drivers side a little crowded
That is one of my unknowns yet with my 440, it may be quite tight

It shouldn't be a big deal with the slant 6 but the dual headers creates a bit of a challenge, especially with the heat generating... keeping the lines and cables clear
So, you are running a GM master cylinder? Is it a two bolt master? Sounds interesting

No.. just takes up a lot of space down near the frame rail. Tight clearance around the steering gear and pipes past the transmission oil pan.
Oh ok. Yeah, Mine has the Z bar and "all that" to contend with, but they're made to fit, it's just really tight on the early cars. I have the same headers, but with a solid header flange.

Got the transmission dropped off today. Sat with Stan as he tore it down. 1st to 2nd valve governor plug was stuck. There was some faint scoring on the plug and the shift valve was sticking as well.
He's going to rebuild the valve body and hone the shift valve area. No damage to the new clutch packs or the pump. Double checked the torque converter snout length and slot depth. It was all good. Should have it back by Friday or so.

Sounds good Chris fingers crossed for ya.

Bulk brake line showed up. Steering u-joint is on its way. I need a tote for all these new parts coming in. Drop spindles and ball joints are not ordered yet. Soon.
