biggest issue is they are tied up on top of other trees
And wind is what probably dropped them there. I've brought a few 'hangers' like that down. Not sure if there is a best way. Always a bit of anxiety cutting into something like that. Ideally It would be nice to clear everything else and drop the one its sitting on sideways. Worst scenario is it never drops, and you have a log suspended in the air.

or getting your saw stuck. :mob: :mob:

I've still got a pile of 'junk wood' from maple trunk and spruce trees I was planning to cut/split. Not ideal, but it's all fine to burn if mixed in with good clean hardwoods. With current back recovery, thinking it's time to get rid of the mauls. I've been buying my firewood already split last few years, but was using at least anything from here. So unless I get a splitter, I need to get all this crap hauled away. Something to figure out this Summer...

I do have a brand new saw. I fired it up, but haven't even made a cut with it.

Cool. Trying to find a new bottle to bring to MITP. Rabbit Hole has a few choices and thinking of grabbing one.
I haven't been into mine for quite a while. I have 3 bottles I bought sometime in late 20 or early 21. One is a rye and 2 are bourbon. One of those is finished in PH Sherry casks.
