Same here for two days. Get the car going?
We'll be starting the exorcism later this morning... so if you see this to the South, don't worry about it... it's just Mitch

Ahhhh good morning. Finally got the sleep I needed after being awake roughly 40 straight hours .

As promised, here’s why.

My son chose to raise a pair of pigs to show to his fair project(remember the pair thing)

One is really good, the other is about average. Well pigs had to be at the fair by 7 am Monday . So around 6pm Sunday, we tried to load the pigs into a trailer. The good one weight over 300 pounds, simply laid Down right in the loading chute and would not move. Then she literally fought us.

This circle when on until my wife and son gave up, him in total tears cause he’d worked so hard, spent his own money and now wasn’t going to get to take his pig to fair. They went home around 9pm. I however am a stubborn asshole and kept trying by my self in a thunderstorm and downpour.

Finally it hit me, he has two pigs, try to load and take the other one. Sure as a politician lies, that other pig ran right into the trailer no issues in about 30 seconds…. By this time, it’s 0230, I rolled into the fairgrounds around 0315, got the thing penned up and left around 0430. Got home at 0500, showered, had to wake everyone up to leave because my daughter had a rabbit show at 8 and pig had to be weighed at 730…
Rabbit show lasted till 530pm, then the goat show that 3 of my kids were in, started. Got home around 11ish last night.

But when he found out yesterday morning at 6 am that he was going to have a pig at the fair after all, made it totally worth it and then some. Kid spent every waking second yesterday pampering this dang walking piece of bacon. This one is only 170 pounds and not near as big as they want them to win but oh well. He’s thrilled and hasn’t stopped smiling.

What a week so far. Pig show is today.

And Sunday will be a hog roast… pig 1 gonna find out …

You do realize the little child's poem "This little piggy went to market" Well he didn't go there to shop!

Was at work the other day changing out a UPS on something called an Adult Fish Trap or AFT. It's there to catch sockeye salmon who are trying to go up the Baker River but run into the dam. It's quite a system, enough going on to need a Com Room. Anyhow, they only catch (and put in our fish taxis) Sockeye salmon but this Chum salmon (or Dog salmon as they are also called) got in there, they see them on camera, funnel them into a chute/table and put them down a return to the river chute. I happened to be at the table when this one showed up. The guys and gals that work this job say it's a marine biologist's dream job.

Haven't had good Salmon in years. Sea food in North Dakota sucks.

Morning misfits still hot here and still and pulling remodeling/cleanup duty at only the daughter's house. We finished Cheryl's mom's place over last weekend, and it goes on the market Thursday. The houses in her neighborhood this summer have gone in a day or two. Her place is in great shape, so we expect a quick sale. Daughter is completing all her paperwork with her relator and hopefully it's on the market later this week. We head out to Florida in the morning meeting up with the two daughters and giving their kids back to them at the airport. Then we all go to the beach for a few days. After three weeks with the kids, I'm maxed on the fun meter haha!! Might not have been so bad if we wouldn't have had the cleanup going on. We coordinated with their other grandma who'd took them a couple times for two or three days which allowed us to get stuff done. Almost there ready for the retirement life when we get home. Ba safe!!

Speaking of fiberglass, @Frodee Memike's son formed up a glass headliner for his charger and covered it with material. I was wondering what he was doing with the bee's wax. It turned out real nice.

Hey....that's what I am going to do with the old International. But too many other things to address first.

The wax keeps the fiberglass from sticking to the cars roof.
They make a wax just for fiberglass molding and it is designed to take the heat of the glass when it's drying.
Also they make a mold release that is liquid and you spray it on the piece you're molding off of and it dries into a plastic film. It works great and comes off during clean up with water.

This is for the AMC lovers out there. AMC homecoming is this weekend in Kenosha, WI
