Stop in for a cup of coffee

I will try and get a picture today TM , mine too.

Yep, grab a couple plants that is already established (2 years old,) and drop it in the ground, leave it and forget it till you see finger popping up, harvest every 3 to 4 days, just cut at near 2 inches off the ground, keep it harvest, don't let them grow very high, maybe 7 to 8 inches, cutting them kicks in there root system to make more.. no problem to grow
That flood control job I did decades ago in the middle of the asparagus fields, they used a V shaped chisel looking thing that cut the stems off a couple inches below the dirt. I found that just breaking the tail end off by hand got rid of that really tough segment the farmers left on.

Good idea, I never grew it before but I should.

Wife bought asparagus seeds one spring. Package read, "Do not eat for 2 years". It came up but we forgot about it. Something else grows in that spot today.

Good morning. I'm new here. Currently on my 4th cup. My latest obsession is trying to learn about ignition systems. In particular, I'm trying to understand how an MSD 6AL works. And how to convert to HEI. And if the two work together. Can somebody point me to the definitive thread for all things HEI?

Welcome aboard, Jason! I see that Mitch has already responded, but I have a question for you: Is this 6AL/HEI system going in a car you're going to keep, or sell?

I only ask because, personally, I'm not a fan of HEI systems in non-GM cars, as they just look "wrong" to me. I know they work, and that people love 'em, but if you're re-selling this vehicle, be aware that this could limit your potential pool of buyers.

Thanks. This is pretty cool. It's been a long time since I was part of a forum that was still active and had lots of good info. It seems time and facebook killed off all the ones I used to enjoy.

This is for a car that I plan to keep. I know that the HEI thing can be a polarizing subject. It was actually searching on the site that brought me to this thread. This post in particular. I'm very confused when it comes to ignition, and that's the last thing that I fell like I really need to figure out. I want to "get it".

I've put HEI conversion distributors on old Fords in the past, but I'm really not a fan of the way it looks. I thought hiding the module in the Chrysler box was a neat idea. But, I don't understand what it gets me if I'm running an MSD box.

Right now I have more questions than answers.

Busy day. I had 2 cups of coffee, 4 slices of toast,2 of which had peanut butter. SSS and dressed. Let the dog out twice. Think another coffee is in order. Then a nap.

Well, i didnt get away that easy. Thought dog didnt want to come in house, nope. Pulley on her cable run failed. So i found a replacement, removeable pulley and spun a new pulley from delrin. Its easily replaced, and should be quieter.

Evening.

Bit of good news, lumber and material prices have actually DROPPED since my initial quote in May. By roughly 31,000 total. That helps
