Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm gonna go out to the garage now and see if I can get the rest of the door insulation done while it's still warm out. Nearly hit 60° here today!

So, i was planning my route 66 trip today.... looks like I can easily do it in 10 days

be about 8 hours of driving per day at an average of 50 mph

Need more days.. Lots of stuff to stop and see and do...
For sure. I'm being generous with my math, I'm actually gonna start in St Louis and go from there, that'll save a whole day of driving there. Bigger question is gonna be how far apart fuel stops are

In the early 60's, went from Indianapolis to San Bernardino on the mother road, in 3 days round trip with time to visit in San Bernardino! Was a child but remember the trips. You will love it im sure.

I'll be driving a four hundred and forty cubic inch big block powered dart
Keep your foot out of it, you will be fine. I drove a hemi roadrunner to vegas in the early 80s on 66. If I can do it so can you, just don't get in a hurry.

It's about the adventure. Air is a big plus in the summer.

Well, I got half the door finished. It took longer than I was expecting since everything has to be cleaned thoroughly for the double-sided tape to get a good adhesion.

You can see the bottom two panels have the top layer of insulation foam foil on them now while the one above them only has the base layer. The base brings it to R3 and with the top it gets to R10.

And the foil backing should help with the voices...
