Well I needed a machine shop to do some custom lathe work for me and I found one today. They told me to bring my parts to them and they would take a look. I told them what dimensions and they gave me a guestimate. This was at noon. At 2:30pm they called me to pick my stuff up and it was EXACTLY correct to the thousandth. Very happy with these guys. Amazing turn around time to say the least!

This is what I see. A little fuzzy I might add.

It's a 10 gallon cowboy hat. That's riDICKulos I do not see anything vulgar about that!
Looks more like the goofy hat for a Cat in the Hat.

Anyway, the brass should have more important things to get the shorts up in a wad over. Its not like its permanent. A simple "I have no knowledge" would have worked and then it could be credited to UFos and aliens - far more entertaining.

Now Brits are at least a couple centuries ahead of us in this sort of primitive art. I couldn't help but think of the Rude Man of Cerne when I heard about this whining.

It doesn't look quite the same from the road as from the air, but I'm too lazy to dig through photos and scan, so you can just see the modern arial view on line).

Lucky finds on the 'net this evening - photos of the 68 & 69 fastback Barracudas racing in France. They (and many others) had been posted on the MOC website an in a super long Moparts thread. But both the thread and the MOC webpage disappeared about two yearsand of course I hadnt saved anything.
Scroll down here too see 'em.
