Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Had those days. Then something goes awry and all hell breaks loose. I gave up on the explosions, got no time for stuff like that. I just find something i want to do,most often its go for a drive.phone off and i dont talk to anybody.
Not me I just let it FLY.

Yeah, I can't point at any one thing that started it but I felt like a pressure cooker on slow boil that just kept getting hotter as the day went on.

Maybe my gyvashyter is broken.
There is a cure for that.

In my case, I think it would require a big winning lottery ticket so I could do something else with my time than the work I do now.
Don't we all. Sadly, history shows that almost all big lottery winners are bankrupt and back to working jobs within a few years

Hey guys.... Christmas list idea

Hey guys.

Dave I got my calendars the other day but haven't seen you on when I was. I love them. Good Job

I'm a firm believer that money can't buy happiness.
Make it easier sure. But pure happiness i just don't see it.
I believe that to a point. I think money is relative though in that it causes lots of stress if you have too little at times. That said, letting it rule your life isn't good, one way or the other.

That's why my goal is to be fully debt free except for a mortgage within 3-5 years. And I'm working on turning that ten acres of mine into something I can harvest food off of. I'm wanting to only have the bare minimum monthly bills for stuff I can't produce/make. Like cell phone, internet, most of my electrical needs. I can supply all my veggie needs, most of my beef and pork needs. It's chicken and fish that'll be the challenge.

However, tying back to money. I do think it's possible to live and survive without a ton of money.

Dave. Have you ever thought about selling your art work? You could make bank if done at the right price. I'll admit honestly that I've always wondered why you didn't. Some of the stuff you did for me would have cost me over 3 grand between the dart and polara by several other guys
I agree. But not worrying about earning money would make it easier to find my happiness in doing other things...like my art.

Well I can't argue that there is peace in being able to do what you want, and not worry about earning a living.
Just life always seem to get in the way somehow.

The rest of that story is how to have enough money to live when you stop working and/or unable to physically do the work you describe to be self sufficient. Also what happens when you and your wife need medical care or full time assisted living care.

Right. I'm not saying to stop working. Not at all. I'm wanting to actually make a 90 percent yearly profit and bank that. I'm going thru a nightmare with the family farm and my grandmother vs medicaide right now. I don't want my kids going thru that. Which is why in Part I'm going back for my masters and why I wanna pay everything off asap. I've already told my wife we are not getting another vehicle loan. It'll be Paid upfront or we fix our current ones as they need it
