Stop in for a cup of coffee

Nope, Holley 600 vacuum secondary...

He tried having a 750 installed, but it ran better with the 600, so he put the 600 back on and sent the 750 back....
I noticed that with my car too. I had a 750 and although it ran good, it really runs good with the 600. It actually scared the crap out of me. Its never broke the tires loose when it shifted into 2nd, this time it did and kept them spinning.. I backed out of that one.. Then I started to laugh!!!!

try to adjust it so it just reaches verticle when hot.... Make sure it's opening all the way...

Then see where it is when cold (after sitting overnight when first starting)... Does it stumble??? If so, try richening it up a notch or two and then verify that it fully opens when hot..,.
I havent fired the car yet for this year, but I'll try what you've mentioned.

I think you guys are making the decision for me. I had no idea.

I am, but it seems to open rather quickly I would say less than 1 minute when cold. If I adjust it, then it doesnt seem to open fast enough.

I really had no idea about that, I didnt think it mattered. Im glad I brought up that I was thinking about it. I dont think they make a single plane manifold for Magnum heads (which Im running) and all this is doing is saving me money!
They used too make one. Not sure if they still do.

This may be the last summer with the car, for awhile. The rust is really starting to rear its ugly head. The rockers, and quarters and blistered all over and there are spots where its actually split like a seam.. Im going to start picking up the sheetmetal and I think its time to do the repairs. I want to put it on a rotisserie, sand blast it and fix everything right.

Yes, I did see that!!! I bet the wife is excited!!
Well she wasn't exactly thrilled but honestly took it much better than expected. It just cost me 6 ducks.

She was wanting me to list it for sale but my 4 yr old has fallen in love with it so now it's safe

Inch off the ground? :poke:
Hey speaking of ground. Was just watching the local news and they were interviewing some geologist about the Hawaii volcano. He made an interesting point. Hawaiis last BIG volcanic eruption occurred in 1984, 9 days after it ended, California suffered a mid 6 earthquake. Interesting huh?

Well, the second round of storms fizzled. The first round must have taken the unstable energy out of the atmosphere. Just a light drizzle now and nothing much more on the radar screen.

I’m ok with that...:)

Just a few days ago we had a 4.5 on the dreaded San Andreas fault. That fault is supposed to be where the next big one comes from. Like a 6.9 or 7.1. Those are quite large quakes.

Yeah wierd how that's all connected huh?

There's a guy around here selling his home made rotisserie for $400...
