Stop in for a cup of coffee

Just a few days ago we had a 4.5 on the dreaded San Andreas fault. That fault is supposed to be where the next big one comes from. Like a 6.9 or 7.1. Those are quite large quakes.
We're on the new Madrid fault here. They've been saying it's well over due as well.

Every small quake is good. It takes pressure off the fault and minimizes the magnitude of later ones.

A long period without mid sized quakes on the SAF would begin to make me really nervous.

Where have they all gone????....back to page 1
Still here...for a little while.

I wake up everyday with a vessel full of patience. Over the course of the day, people I encounter take some of the contents of the vessel as I interact with them.

By the end of the day, the vessel is sometimes empty...so whomever I interact with after that gets zero patience.

Today was of those days that the vessel ran out very early.

Hey Tim. The wife brought up Carlisle tonight. Looks like WE might be going. Happy when I told her I hadn't canceled the reservations.
Might be able to meet up on the way and drive the rest of the way in a caravan. NOT dodge caravan...

You both will have a great time. It is a place like no other and needs to be experienced to truly understand.
I think we are going to fly. We have a bunch of air miles so that's covered. We both want to spend a day or two at Gettysburg.

Couldn't agree more. The night before I go to Carlisle I am like a kid on Christmas eve... LOL

I can hardly wait. She was a little surprised when I told her I'd kept the room and was going one way or another. She said if I wanted to go that bad, then she wanted to go to.

That would add to an awesome trip... I haven't been on the battlefields for several years. Really something every American should get to do.

Gettysburg is another place that needs to be experienced to understand it. I’m quite sure you will enjoy that too.

I've read so much and studied that battle I feel like I was there sometimes. I hadn't thought of it in years. I'll have to freshen up before I go. A buddy is friends with one of the Parks Ranger command staff and thinks we can get a private tour.
