Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have a Holley. 1945. Is yours 1945 or 1920? Not sure when they switched.

From what I am reading, they switched from the 20 to the 45 in 74. My guess would be mine is a 20 then if the info I am reading is correct. Howeverrrrrrrrr... we all know that nothing is set in stone on these older cars!

Is that wood I see in the bottom picture?? What the heck is that?? Nothing worse on a hot day working underneath car glass. Gets hot quick.
folds up against the trunk oem trunk divider? the back of the fold down seat is plywood also!

With the stamp its a Holley. Probably came with a Carter and it was switched out by a previous owner (PO)
Well that is what I thought, but I have been wrong before! And lots have more experience than I do with such things so I am always willing to learn something new :)

And in the sincerest and thoughtful way till or if I return

May the Bird of Paradise Fly up your Nose.

I've read so much and studied that battle I feel like I was there sometimes. I hadn't thought of it in years. I'll have to freshen up before I go. A buddy is friends with one of the Parks Ranger command staff and thinks we can get a private tour.
It won't take long to refesh on the basics of the key stuff. If you're in reasonable shape - plan on walking as much as you can. To give you some perspective, we parked near Meade's HQ, walked along the front to the left flank around Little Round Top and then along the road back to the car. My recollection was it took roughly 3- 4 hours. I think we arrived at Meade's around 6 pm and it was 10 pm when we got to the Gettyburg diner in town.

Gettysburg is one of a handful of park's where its common for visitors to use (pay) private tour guides. Some are supposed to be very good. But if you're already familiar with the events, you'll be fine no matter what you do.

I'm out. All you lurkers can post now.
:poke:
On the floor of Tokyo
Or down in London town to go
With the record selection
With the mirror reflection
I'm lurking on myself
When there's no one else in sight
In the crowded lonely night
Well, I waited so long
For my love vibration
And I'm dancing with myself
Oh, lurking on my self
Oh, lurking on my self
Well, there's nothing to lose
And there's nothing to prove
And I'll be lurking on my self myself
If I looked all over the world
And there's every type of girl
But your empty eyes
Seem to pass me by
Leave me Oh, lurking on my self myself
So let's sink another drink
'Cause it'll give me time to think
If I had the chance
I'd ask the world to dance
And I will be lurking on my self with myself
Oh, lurking on my self
Oh, lurking on my self
Well, there's nothing to lose

Yep, it's running, but I still am not happy with the trans...

The kick down linkage feels right as far as the springy feel when you cycle it by hand, but I'm not happy with how it shifts....

It up-shifts too late when in drive, and doesn't kick down when you stab it from a roll in drive....

Now that I'm typing this, we didn't verify that the kick down was adjusted properly... I have to let Eddie know to check it first before bringing it back to the trans guy...
That's probably all it is.

There should be some numbers on it someplace, on the choke tower casting or on a tag. That will identify the exact version.
