Prayers for your Grandma Karl. Sometimes when you go in for a operation other things crop up. Hopefull that the doctors and care providers can get her back on her feet soon.
Did a little jamming last night with some friends. Just two guitars, drums, and me on bass. After a few beers and pizza, we cut loose for about 4 hours. broke it up about 10:30 last night. Great fun.
3 cups, so far, this morning. A friend brought a door over to the house yesterday, that needs to have the hinges relocated. It's an old door that he found at an antique shop, somewhere. He asked if I can resize it to fit his kitchen entrance, and relocate the hinge gains to match his frame.
Also, the lock will need to be moved to match the frame, too. I will resize the door, blank out the original hinge locations, and mortise in new hinge gains, today for him. I recommended that we not move the lock bore and latch edge, though. It will be much easier and far less noticeable if we blank out the strike prep on the door jamb, and create a new strike on the frame to match the existing lock bore on the door.
So that will be how I spend my afternoon, today.
Holley wants to know if Gunner would like to play. LOL
What a cute pup!

Would've loved to hear that jam session, sounds like a lot of fun!! I've been doing a lot of recording lately, and getting my son in on it too! He layed down some violin on a song I wrote and put some mandolin on another! He's only 10 but he's got the makings of a great musician! If he'll show me how to digitize the recordings I'll post some here!!
Rock on Frankie!! Wish we lived closer so we could do some pickin, and have Tony Fields come over too!! Geof
What a cute pup!
Prayers for Grandma. Curious.. How old is she?
I'm not much older than you (50) If my grandmother was still living she would be 119. Lost her in '99 at 103. One of my biggest regrets is not finding out more of the family history from her. She could barely see or hear, but her mind was sharp.
My dad is 85. I found out yesterday that my sister took him to WillsEye in Philly the other night after complications of cataract removal last week. The kept him there till they clear up infection and other issues.
