Stop in for a cup of coffee

Sure was! I just wish I could have gotten that car when he died in '85. He still had it and it only had 68k miles on it. He kept it like new.

Unfortunately, my Mother never approved of me following her Dad's love of cars and made sure it was sold before I asked about it. They let it go for $1100...and I never forgave her for it.

I've got a list of cars I will never forgive MYSELF for selling.

Sorry dinner was served and then dishes and a shower.

Now its my time..

I envy you guys! I will never get the joy of buying a muscle car for $200 (just throwing that out there) and then selling it. Not to mention doing it more than once!

May be a good time to forgive her, mothers are over protective :)

She died 5 years ago. She wasn't over-protective, she was a manipulative ***** who wanted to make me into her vision of me, in total disregard of my happiness. She shat all over my love of cars and my pursuit of Art in High School (she wanted me to be a Doctor) until her High Society friends started to say how impressed they were with my artistic abilities. Then she started proclaiming how great my talent was and trying to show me off. By then I had left Art School and was running my Auto Upholstery business and she was berating me over abandoning my art. I stopped speaking to her for several years.

We made our peace some time before she died, but I made it clear that I wouldn't ever forgive her for certain things until she apologized for them. Some she did, and some she didn't. She said she would never apologize for making a bad decision. I told her that made her unwilling to accept responsibility for her actions, but that it was entirely up to her.

In the end, I am who I am despite who she wanted me to be...and damn proud of what I've accomplished so far in my life. It's just a shame she chose to disable me rather than enable me at the critical points in my youth.

I have done that and then regretted it.

That is why I don't sell any cars anymore.

People ask "what are you going to do with all those cars"

I say " what cars" ....you didn't see anything!!!......right?

get it!!! got it !!!! Good!!!

6 p.m. moutntain time and I am still running strong from being up all night.

I am slowing down a little but I will get a wind if I go for a jog again.

I think I might get fatty kitty running again. :coffee2:

I wonder how Mr. M3 is doing lol

Hopefully he's still above water in his backyard swimming pool!

Well that makes sense... Heck Im still trying to recover from my vacation, man am I exhausted. I think that might be from the cold I caught towards the end of it.

eating and drinking mountain dew too late and being a bit too hyper.

If you read back a few miles we were in here late last night or early this morning ....or whatever you want to call it. LOL

So, when you do finally crash after staying up this long will it just be a normal night's sleep or extra long?

I always seem to have to sleep extra to make up for the loss.

I have, several in fact...but it was a loooong time ago. :D

Here's one I doubled my money on in 1986. Bought it for $200, put 300 in it (including painting it and new vinyl top) and sold it for $1000. 225 slant with AC...

I stopped by and picked up a bottle of Titos and mixed myself a bloody mary. I had some pickled asparagus for garnish. Pretty tasty. Oh, and I got my t shirt today. Nicely done!
