Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well, of course I did before i used them, But it was close, so im going to use the washers, This engine just does not idle like I think it should. It runs good, but I think it could smooth out more, it pulls 17 inches of vacuum at idle but every so often it moves down real fast and back up. I have seen ALL the trouble shooting guides online, so i know what it MIGHT be...Might be im obsessing over nothing.

I would not use the ARP bolts, I just don't like how deep the shoulder is.

I would go to a home improvement/hardware store/fastenal and buy a box of 3/8" -x 18 x 1 1/2" grade 8 bolts and washers. You can use 12 of them on the intake alone and it can also be used in other places, like the oil pump etc...

oh - so maybe you were trying to get us into a bolt and hole depth conversation... is that it? LOL

I will use the thick washers on it and call it a day. And I sure did not pay 56 dollars for them.

Well, while you guys have been hole dipping, I have been busy at work. Stripped these panels and detail painted them yesterday afternoon.
This morning I detail painted all the white letters with Testers Model Paint.
Very tedious job. I did it this morning before I start popping Beer tops at Noon !!
