they would put that in the rebuild hours, only if it had to be done.. will only give you shop time for the min a shop would do to get it going. Now if you show that it is not rebuildable and had to be replaced... that's good for the amended claim. Be sure if you need little sensors etc that they give you the labor time. Probably more $ than the part!

send it to me lolHey they had coffee cups! Man this is becoming a regular thing this week! I will watch it thought that was ok.
By the way what tool is used for taking pinion bearing off without damaging them? I have a bearing plate with the press and it just does not get under the inner sleave and rips the cage off of the bearing. Any tips?
Bearing separator? Sounds like that's what you already have. We cut through the outer race and halfway through the inner race with a cut off disc, then split it with a chisel and hammer. No damage to the shaft but it does destroy the bearing.Hey they had coffee cups! Man this is becoming a regular thing this week! I will watch it thought that was ok.

Well we won't see dukeboy for a while. Lol
Buy an extra one and open the i.d. up just enough so it will slide on and off until you do the final install. bag it and tag the setup bearing for the next one. That's what I have maybe I need a thinner one. Some time I have to put shims under the pinion bearings and always destroy the bearing. There has to be a way to do it. Yeah I usually cut the inner part of the bearing also.

Never thought about that. It does get kind of expensive when you have to do the shims twice.Buy an extra one and open the i.d. up just enough so it will slide on and off until you do the final install. bag it and tag the setup bearing for the next one.
