LOL - yea... I gotta go in - it's a "closure day" and I get a comp day for being there, plus I get paid my regular shift pay... I'll be on here ALL day... it ain't nuthin' but a thing
We must work day before and after holiday to get it paid. Unless you schedule Vac ahead. No call off even if you have sick time.

I am trying to decide whether to put the four wheeler and plow on the truck or wait to see if we get more.

You usually go in by 6:00 don't you?
Sometimes
A lot of them were starting at 5 today. I did not figure on that, but was going to go in early, but somehow turned my alarm off. I just use my phone alarm. Sometimes forget to set the time where I want it, but dont think I ever turned t off by accident before...

So it's a 50% staff cut. Sounds like what I went through back in early September. If they can stay viable as a company, it could work out well for you...if not, at least it gives you time to line up other options.
The company actually is viable, it's the customer that has contracted the company to do work for that's cutting back.

Good morning Ben, its a cold Friday morning here, 34 is perfect for this man wanting to drop a deer and let it hang a while
