Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hey Mike these guys are brutal....if they get something on you they don't let up. I for one don't care if you drive a Nova

Both look nice, Can you make the tires bigger? Less low profile? Thanks even if you cannot!
OK, try these...

@straightlinespeed you asked earlier my barrel's weight. I looked up the paperwork of the blank, its a Broughton 5C Heavy Bull Premium match, 24 inch 1:8 twist, 11 degree crown. Weight is 7.2 lbs. cost was 370 for the blank, 400 for the finishing machine work, 100 for the match grade bolt(les Bear), 150 for National MOA certification of 1/4 at 100 yards.

But. for just plinking, this set up would work just fine. they come and go out of stock rapidly.

AR-Stoner Barrel Bolt AR-15 6.5 Grendel (Grendel II Chamber) Medium

Holy Cows buddy! Your barrel cost more than 1.5 of my A/R's!! I will admit, mine are just cheap plinking rifles. I did find a barrel in stock with the bolt thru Brownells for the same price. It had good reviews and only weighed 3.7lbs for a 24" I have to admit, that is not something your going to shoulder long! hahahaha. Your rifle sounds very nice and I would love to take a couple shots with something that nice.

I don't actually own this...but if I did, it would be in 7.62x39, have 2 types of compensators, forward pistol grip in addition to factory, OEM sniper scope, rubber shoulder pad extension, 6 magazines with belt pouches and detachable bipod and bayonet. It might also 'accidentally' go full-auto if it's handled a certain way...

Highly capable weapon...too bad I don't have one.

Now I just need to figure out the back spacing and widths I can fit. Looks good.
Once you pick a wheel and tire combo, I can do a better image for you to see what it might look like. These are just sketches for initial consideration.

Diameter, width, offset, etc. The old bolt patterns aren't well supported and choices are limited. While there are several diameters and widths available, they are on few select choices. Offset choices become even fewer.

Best to decide on a wheel first that you like and has the dimensions you are willing to accept before looking at tires. Choose a tire first and you may never find a wheel (that you like) that supports it

Thanks, I was working a ton of OT to pay for it, I managed to build it during the height of the gun buy panicky back in 2013, I was lucky though, I'd already ordered the barrel and bolt prior to the panick, and picked up a lower early before they got stupid priced. The day I was breaking it in, I had a guy offer me 4800 for it, should have taken it in hindsight
