I got one, but i already went with electric choke conversion..
right, I thought so, but you're not in the process of doing one... and these would be for someone doing "correct" restoration work I guess. I would think these are about as close to NOS as you can get without being right there...

thing is - IF they bad mouth you, anyone worth their salt will check out what the scoop is - hear-say and gossip is all that is
Yeah, but that kind of stuff is enough to keep people from even trying to find out if it's real or not...they just choose to go find a different consultant.

It's like a rumor that some one might have pissed in the coffee, 99.9% of people will just go somewhere else to get some rather than try to find out if the rumor is true or not...even if the coffee over there is nowhere near as good.

an interesting analogy... LOL

they are all 73 and up
Yeah, the electric assist is part of the early emissions stuff. The nice thing about those chokes is that you don't have to use the electric assist for them to function so they are backwards compatible to the earlier models.

are they considered correct for their listed application?

Haircuts....
Interesting fact that came out of today's funeral, I have an adopted cousin from Vietnam. She's like 15 but my aunt and uncle adopted her many years ago(keep its been 17 years since I've been to a family fuction

I also learned that my great grand mother who just died was dropped off and abandoned during the Great Depression along the river and was later found by a local farmers wife who took her in. She was roughly 5-6 years old

I have heard that there was a lot of that happened back then - it's why it is so hard to follow blood lines past the depression
