Stop in for a cup of coffee

I had a good break yesterday. I have not been able to get my Firetruck inspected because of the wheels being welded on (poorly) Max drug in an old frame and it had a dually rear that he is scraping (no gears) and it has the 6 bolt wheels that I have been looking for for years! Free to me!

Can we say Rat rod Fire truck? Or firetruck with patina!

Well give up. Gonna have to swap the front spindles on the polara to load it. Damn things are seized to the spindles.

Alright!

I ended up paying $204 for a valve seat cutter kit shipped. A 3/8" reamer (didn't really need that) and the following cutters are included:

- 30 degree 2 1/8"
- 30 degree 1 3/4"
- 45 degree 2 1/8"
- 45 degree 1 5/8"
- 60 degree 2"
- 60 degree 1 1/2"

Now all I have to do is wait and pray that the quality isn't terrible ...

Do you have a hub puller? There is no way that you should not be able to take the axle nut off and pull the whole assembly. Those bearing should have been greased and would not have rusted. Your shoes is rusted to your drum. Take a couple big screw drivers and work it off. Yes it will take time but I just did 12 inch hubs on a motor home last fall. It took 2 of us and working. No puller. But if you put a hub puller on the hub it will break the shoes loose if you hammer the drum.
