Portable garage is on the ground, broke a fitting on my tractor, shop is a mess and snow drifts everywhere. Tomorrow is a day of cleaning up todays mess.

Wow a day out in the cold and coming into the warm to a Roast with Potatoes carrots and onions. It just doesn't get any better than this. I could go to bed and sleep.

I was out for a few hours too, jeans and overalls soaked, boots soaked. Knees frozed.

Comfort food right there.

Add in a hummer and you're in heaven!

i been welding up a firewood rack today. turns out I have no idea how to cut a 45 degree angle.. Excessive gap filling sucks. Just got to put legs on it now..

My big win for the day was that my little shop air compressor fired up just fine. It's been about 9 years since I last used it and about 15 since I bought it. It's just a 1.5 hp vane compressor, but still...

Nice looking fox wandering around in town, no fear whatsoever. Coyotes are on edge of town. Cats going missing all over.

My buddy’s cousin has them in his back yard constantly. Two gardens. One for the critters, one for the people.

The neighbouring town is full,i mean full of deer. Garbage eaters though...and oddly enough, some have short legs compared to the ones in the bush.

Welding aint like woodwork is it!? Darn stuff moves around as it heats and cools. Definately a bit of an art - I no I don't have the hang of it yet either.

We have a big grey fox that cuts through our yard regularly at night. I've seen him more than a dozen times. I hear the coyotes down in the valley one in a while after they have made a kill.

We actually had a mountain lion prowling down there a few years ago. He chased some ATV guys about a half a mile. Turned out they had gotten near a recent deer kill he made.

No hunting in this county. That's why he was strolling along without a care in the world. He didn't even flinch when I opened the slider and stepped out on the deck.
Crossbow makes very little noise.... just saying

I spent all weekend fixing broken things
I only got odds and ends and chores done. Too much time looking for the correct parts for the wag. Now at least I have the Timken number, tommorrow I'll have to call 'em to get the specs.

You should try warming it up, it might seal itself.
It might stop leaking when its hot, but the leak won't repair itself. Easy enough to pull the water pump and replace the gasket...and the pump too if needed. No biggie, I wanted to reroute the heater hoses like we talked about anyway. Probably put in a shut off valve for the heater core too while I'm at it.
