Here's a set of 360 heads from just before the holes were added under the exhaust valves... The meat is there, but the holes weren't implemented yet so early mid 70's time frame... Originally 1.88" intakes, now 2.02"... You can see that the valves do not touch, but are close...

You're making some good progress...

As long as you keep getting something done, no matter how small, you are getting closer to the end... :D

How do you eat an elephant??? One bite at a time... They are too big to swallow whole... :realcrazy:

You just gotta take one bite/one step forward at a time, before you know it, you will be done....

Wow guess it is right. Wonder how the area between the valves holds up?
Just fine. At least the ones in my 408 done in 1988 are still working just fine. Granted it's a low mileage 30 years...
