The lumber store I bought the hangars at was asking WHAT??? They didn't understand how that could be a discrepancy, I agree as the hangars installation instruction is to nail them in!

Jorje came by yesterday to walk thru some of the jobs I need help with, $30 hr., good carpentry skills we'll see how it works out.
Yep. Eddie stopped by today in the Dart and we installed the distributor from Hoppy and tuned it in...
Now it gets squirrely when you nail it from a stop....![]()

*****-hey but you're right, he probably spells it George. That's funny I spelled it like that, and I'm from San Jose...
Morning.
Swap meet day.
Buddy cancelled on me.
So its just me and the wife. I bet she will enjoy it too.
Buddy wants me to shop for him, no way. I have enough to think about.
A few locals will be attending,as well as the gentleman that sold me the engine and delivered it yesterday.

Glad it is running again for him everything working now?
Hey I think that one has a adjustable vac advance on it also KK
Anyone we might know????Not looking for anything in particular.
Never been to a swap meet.
Meeting a fellow fabo member to pick up a rear window.
Vac pump on it and run it you can set the total vac with a 3/32 allen key in the nipple have to disconnect the hose each time a bit of a pia but if you want it dialed in it helps, I usually set them in the middle. Wont add any more than what is on the arm but limits itHow do you tune in the vacuum advance???
It's running pretty good right now as far as tune goes... It's at 17° advance right now and has vacuum advance hooked up...
I take it since your taking those off the dash is toast. I'd think you'd yank the dash and pop them out?? Guess its not that simple??Tell you what taking the defroster vents out of a 65 cuda sucks even with the dash apart! Took out one yesterday took 45 minutes! Waiting till tomorrow to do the other one!
Prob have to take the windshield out, want to keep it sealed for now. Tell you what another gem on them are these little rear under the back glass plastic trim corners. Had to cut the rubber seal to get to two screws under the gasket, now I know what a goldfish in the sun feels like!I take it since your taking those off the dash is toast. by 73 you might have a carter
The carter has a great big outlet pipe on the front of it going to the charcoal can the older holleys didn't typically have that
Is that wood I see in the bottom picture?? What the heck is that?? Nothing worse on a hot day working underneath car glass.
