Stop in for a cup of coffee

My daughter gave me a cool present this year. She took a picture that the photographer for Mopar Collector's Guide (MCG) took last summer for a future article. We were at MOPARS in the Park. Anyway she took the pic and had it converted to a water painting finish. Something like Dave does.

She was looking for an artist rendering or something similar. She said in her search she emailed several people. When she told them what Dad had, a 67 Barracuda Formula S 383 convertible, no one had that picture. She said she began to realize old Dad was right it is a special car.

She told me "this one guy she contacted most of been old because he said he worked on the design for your Barracuda. He told me all about your car". His name was John Samsen. He was a lead designer on the Barracuda design team. He is also the person given credit for the name Barracuda. Pretty cool. He told her Dad had a rare car. He asked her to have me send him a pic of the car, which I will do.

Like other MOPAR owners our car is special to us. We love driving it and going to car shows where we can share our piece of MOPAR history!!

Awsome story. Any personal reminiscents from Mr Samsen will be loved by all. Be interesting to find out which department he worked for. There's quite a few different teams that go into the total design.

Good Morning!
Looks like a slow start in here - easy back read. I had a slice of pumpkin pie with my first sips of coffee. Mmmm. Definitely plotting on some ham and eggs after a bit. Was just the 2 of us here yesterday and she got a spiral ham that would have easily fed 10.

We have one around here someplace. I think she put a few pics in it (years ago)and it became a dust collector when the battery died.

We have tons of Lasagna left over. Danny and Stan kind of filed up at Stans Parents before coming over! Good more for me!

I don't think that one had a cord...

My Christmas happens this Saturday. My married kids have 3 other ones to do yesterday and today. Its ok, don't mind a quiet day or 2. Recovering from retail hell the last 3 weeks.

Wow everybody has a day off. I'll be back later.

Off work until Jan 2. Heading out to the shop shortly to work on my sons rat rod WITH him for a change. He got a Thumpr cam, Weiand Stealth intake and an aluminum radiator for Christmas from the grandparents and us.

Lazy day today. Brekki is amazing after holidays, leftover ham and eggs, with deviled eggs on the side with deeesert! A spot of green tea and ya got a happy tummy for the day. I am going into work, make a seagull pass and back to thrashing on the Demon. Who needs yoga class when you are putting in a dash.
Official disclaimer: I have never been to a yoga class, no one wants to see that!
