So, got new tires for my Truck. Bridgstone Durivis, any how, My truck has tire pressure sensors on all 6 wheels. When Discount mounted the tires, two inner rear wheels failed the TPS reset. HMMMM. So they installed aftermarket sensors, which I thought was the end of the issue. NOT. Yesterday back from Santa Maria with trailer, both inside TPS were failing, then coming back on, the whole trip! Go to Ford, those TPS are a wear item, they said! WTF? Anyway the wont warranty them, two new Ford TPS, 86.00 each! HOPE it is fixed now!!!! The question I had for Ford was why only the inside sensors failed? Simple answer...Those wheels are steel, the rest are aluminum and I was very careful to make sure the did not scratch the wheels, they used kid gloves on them. BUT, the steel wheels not so much, and the shock of slamming them on the tire machine caused them to fail! Crazy....

Ouch Tim. Alot of extra costs just for putting on new tires, as well as annoying. Tales like that only further convince me its better to drive a relatively primative old rig. I was about ***** about fuel milage dropping below 10. I'll deal with it.
We reached a high of 7° today and they are saying next Monday 6 - 10" of snow and Wednesday will be a high of -9° F with a low of -22° F...
