So its in the air. Two things i neglected to measure. The length of the car and the length of the hoist. I fell short,so had to rethink the mounts for the rotisserie.
Tomorrow i will remove the junk from inside and pull wheels.

Just took her out to get fuel and groceries, ran great! Did discover that the filler neck grommet leaks though. I wondered why everyone said putting in the filler neck was a pain in the *** when mine put up little resistance!
Now I know!

Some interesting discoveries under the dash.
Apparently I powered the oil temperature gage and tach using the lead for the A/C that I removed. So far so good :)
Followed that to the the fuse block. Whoever installed the A/C didn't believe in fuses.
Cleanest option would be to install a fuse in the open accessory fuse cavity. Not sure I'll be able to find those clips easily.

Also would like to find a new cover for the back of the fuseblock. Just looked at DMT's website - nothing.
Might have to make my own.

Hey,Chris!
It sliiped right by,Happy Birthday!!

Almost went back out to shop to clean out the car.

Something changed my mind...

I got in the truck a few hours ago, truck said 85*. After airing it out some it settled on a more realistic 76*.
There is a word or two i would like to use..
Instead i will ask if you have a guest room, available between oct and april?
Or march. Well,even late februrary...

76 is a little unusual for January. Lucky to get 76 in June, that's June Gloom season. Overcast everyday until 1pm. When I worked at S. Vandenberg AFB moved up here in August, I wasn't here a week before I was at JC Penneys ordering a snow mobile suit to wear at work. Wore that until October when summer finally got here. It's an odd little micro-climate, but I love it. March-May is "WIND" season. November until March is a crapshoot, never know what will come up.

Last summer was a-typical it was hot and dry june through sept.
Then it rained until it snowed.
I remember summers being hot as a kid,but many of the past years havent been very nice. Lots of wind. Makes getting out in the boat impossible.

We spent a summer in Brandon when I was a kid. One weekend trip we made to either Clear Lake or Lake Winnepeg, the wind was brutal. Like the Mojave Desert in spring time without the flying real estate. 5 foot wind waves on the beaches made fishing challenging.

He has Fargo whipped we are only -23! But the wind has slowed up a bit and that really helps! Nice evening for a sip of something at least 12 years old. And no Karl my wife is fifty plus! Hah!

Lake winnipeg, when it gets really rough, what sinks boats is they get slammed on the lake bottom and breaks the hull.

I just looked it up on the map. Big lake. Just north of North Dakota a few miles. LOL

Happy Birthday Chris.
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Much appreciated. Not been the best of days but don’t wanna talk about it. Dinner was great at my favorite seafood place so it’s automatically a win.

Everyone enjoy a drink, I’m off to bed. Thanks again
