I have been looking for those aluminum ones with the flap. Can really use two on the other side to run the scope in the winter.

I was at a land fill here in town and pulled 4 off of the vacuum cleaners they have at car washes , this was 20 years ago, they worked very good and I shared them when a friends needed them

Its not the hose that I need they are easy enough. The part that is in the door. Saw them once way to much money like 100 each.

That is why I made my own , 4'' pvc S_40 with a 3" reducer , made my own rubber flap out of rubber and put them in each wall next to my small role up door

Well that was one hell of a cold walk into work. took me 2 hours to get to work, we have white out conditions with 0 visibility
Bet it felt good though.
Unless your fingers or toes got numb. That always hurts like hell when warming up.
I've gotten a little smarter about that since high school. LOL

That's Idea. Does not melt from the exhaust heat on a HP car?
Nope, and I used it a lot , I would start what car was in there to help heat the little shop up (24X28) Hoses was a set of two, 5' each, I cut the check valve flapper out of convaaer belt, (how ever it is spelt

Minus 40.
Yup. Its cold.
Truck will start. Dont know if it will move, but it will start.
Long story short from the mechanic and former partner at Pheonix performance from when he wsa just starting out.
The owner of where he was working told him to be real gentle with the work truck in cold weather. I can't recall now if it was a plow or just a tow rig but it was geared real low and of course long before synthetic gear oils.
You know where this is going right?
Yup. One cold morning he puts into first lets off clutch and goes nowhere.

Good call. I think I will try it if I ever catch up around here. The pop fumes are pretty rich at idle. RPM it is just right. It would be nice to have them in when I scope peoples cars. I just open the door now and it helps but not enough.

Had a interesting call yesterday from a guy that needs a ton of caps. Well turns out he specializes in OEM brakes and suspensions. Just a fyi if you guys need anything weird. Seems like he has everything but bell style drums.

Morning guys, you guys stay warm back there. 17 here with a high of 45 today, hopefully get rid of some of this snow.

I'll trade ya, we down to -8, -33 degree windchill

Well I was wrong, it's not 20 degrees here now, it;s friggen 10 degrees, high today will be 20 :eek::eek:

Good morning, 32 deg here, cold for us. Will take it easy today, I think I must have pulled an abdominal muscle yesterday. The Habitat store has thousands of records they are selling right now, many boxes on the floor and I was in weird positions trying to mine the few good records. I found "The Buttoned-Down Mind Of Bob Newhart" and My Fair Lady, and a one-hit-wonder band whose hit was "Who Will The Fool Tonight" which I haven't heard in 40 years. Buying for a friend and they are only 10 cents apiece!!

They sound like Toto to me.

So far
