That thermometer is in a north facing window above the kirchen sink. It's always cold in that space.53.2 in the house??? Turn the heat up!!
Just don't take a wizz outside today.Saw a spot on the news this morning. Someone up north left a banana out over night. They then took it and pounded a nail into wood. Made you smile.![]()

I have two pans of water simmering on the electric stove, and a tub of water setting all the time, my home is only 960 sq feet so it is much easier to control and have at least 60% humidityI have humidifiers on both floors. It is always 20-25% in the winter. Hot water heat doesn't add any moisture for sure.
I hate to hear that. RIP friend. Make sure Joey puts the legendary status to his accountLive life like you mean it !!! for our friend we lost @Abodybomber .. RIP buddy

When it gets around 15% you can spark an arc when turning on a light. (good ground path) You can make a CFL bulb flicker sometimes. that's when I realized I better get some moisture in the airMany years ago we used a cast iron propane stove in our mobile home. Open pot of water on top wasn't a good thing with toddlers in the home. So....I simply took 4 little screws out of a cheap tea pot to remove a spring. Moisture without the whistle.I propped the spout cap open on the tea pot. There will be moisture in a few minutes.
That's what I am talking about !!! Good job, watch the window fog up
good morning yea old Frosty Fellagood morning you snowmen....View attachment 1715282784
On cold days, hot engine and running, hose on it actually helps warm up shop.Good call. I think I will try it if I ever catch up around here. The pop fumes are pretty rich at idle. RPM it is just right. It would be nice to have them in when I scope peoples cars. I just open the door now and it helps but not enough.
Yep. That's why I prop the lid open. A twist tie on the handle does the trick. Many years ago we used a cast iron propane stove in our mobile home.
